Colorful Summer Wedding

I was so excited when Kelsey from Bottom Line Bakery and Salty Tomatoes Food Truck reached out to me to do her wedding flowers. I had simultaneous feelings of honor and pressure, because and she’s probably been to just as many wedding deliveries as I have! I’m happy to say that the flowers were a hit.

We went back and forth on the color palette and design choices in the few weeks leading up to the celebration, ultimately landing on a wildflower-inspired fall palette. It was so fun to work on this one. The colorful gallery is below!

Simply Elegant Wedding at The Corry House

When you have neutral flowers, they go with everything! From the lush and fern-filled forest ceremony site at the Corry House to the light blue bridesmaids dresses, the classic white blooms and soft greenery carried our couple’s classic and elegant theme throughout the wedding day.

We used jars of flowers for the aisle hooks that were then brought back to the reception barn to double as centerpieces, and the longest runner we’ve done yet adorned the table down the middle of the barn. It was almost 50 feet long! Textured bud vases and candles accented the “extra” spaces at the venue like the bar and memory table.

Classic Vineyard Wedding at Montaluce Winery

A wedding beneath a beautiful oak tree, overlooking a beautiful landscape, followed by a dreamy reception - what more could you ask for!?

We used a low and growing ceremony semicircle of flowers, lush barrel topper arrangements in gold vases, more candles than you’d believe, bud vases, and greenery throughout the venue. Most of the ceremony florals were repurposed at the reception beneath the mantle at the reception, and along the head table.

The tree has since been trimmed, so while we can still drape it, it does have a different shape. Stay tuned for the most recent Montaluce wedding with the new style!

Aiken Estate Wedding and Polo Club Reception

Almost each wedding we do becomes my new favorite, and this was no exception! Originally, our clients wanted all-white flowers and greenery. As wedding planning evolved, they decided to add in more bright, spring flowers and it couldn’t have gone better.

The private ceremony featured greenery and floral columns, low arrangements for the end of the aisle, and petals going down it. We made floral collars for their pups (swoon!) and they definitely stole the show. The bridal bouquet was expansive and full of life.

The intimate reception took place at New Bridge Polo Club and was just as beautiful. The couple gathered their closest friends and family to celebrate with them. The head table used a series of low, “growing” style arrangements without vases. These are the perfect way to decorate a farmhouse table so guests can still see across. It gives the effect for a runner but breaks it up a little to give room for candles and conversation. The cocktail table linens were tied back with greenery and topped with a bud vase.

Did I mention the wedding also took place on a Wednesday? Makes me love it even more.

Spring has Sprung at Windsor Manor

This wedding at Windsor Manor occurred in late May, just as it is really starting to warm up in Augusta. Our bride gave us creative freedom for her color palette, and just requested we add some stargazer lilies in there because it was her favorite flower. To soften the look and tie it together, we used accents of light pink and peach, along with our base of greenery and crisp white flowers.

Her bouquet was a classic and simple ‘teardrop’ cascade shape. We decorated the lanterns that the venue has with an edge of flowers that dressed it up just a little bit more than laying the greens and flowers around them on the table. It was a lovely day!

Lovely in Lavender at Pine Knoll Farms

This has to be one of the most calming color palettes we have worked in! The lavender and light blue combined with lighter green hues was the perfect start to the Spring season in Augusta. Not to mention, this wedding happened on Master’s weekend so it felt like the calm in the middle of the storm.

We used a couple of centerpiece options to add some interest to the Magnolia Barn at Pine Knoll Farms: low floral arrangements and a lush base around a cylinder vase trio with candles. The cross base from the Kelly Chapel was moved in front of the sweetheart table during cocktail hour. Love the ability to repurpose ceremony florals like this!
