Glamorous Vintage-Inspired Wedding at Heartwood Acres

This wedding was such a dream! The bouquet, the candles, I just love it!

The head tables were filled to the brim with candles and a few bud vases, and the other guest tables had a simpler version of this with centerpieces in gold vases for the rounds.

We pivoted our design plan throughout this couples’ planning process to match their vintage-glam vibe and feature some of the brides favorite flowers, tulips. We opted for a mix of textured and clear glass bud vases, and some of our antique gold compotes to tie into the gold accents.

Because I’m often out of the reception space before the candles are lit and place settings are complete, it makes me so happy to see the final photos! The glow from the candlelight on the tables waiting for guests to begin their celebration is just beautiful. Flowers truly transform a space but it’s the teamwork that brings it all together in the end.

Crisp Spring Wedding in Aiken

Tented weddings are becoming more and more popular. They are a blank slate! For this reception, we hung greenery along the string lights in the tent to make it a garden-inspired, romantic scene. The tables had a variety of blush, peach, and white blooms surrounded by candlelight.

The ceremony was in front of The Green Boundary Club. We decorated the front door with a large spray, had petals for the guests to throw as the couple exited the ceremony, and low aisle arrangements that were later moved to the stage.

We even got to green up their golf cart for the wedding exit! If every wedding was like this, I definitely wouldn’t be mad about it! We loved setting this springtime scene for our couple.

Timeless Southern Wedding at The Willcox

There are few trees more southern than the magnolia. Our bride wanted a timeless and classic look with some of her favorite blossoms. These are one of the few flowers I will use a high-quality silk substitute for, because they wilt nearly immediately upon being cut from the tree. We can’t even order them wholesale, for that reason!

We ended up marrying the silk stems with a variety of crisp white blooms to tie it together. I used fresh magnolia and camellia foliage to add a warm, rich green to the flowers. It was a perfectly timeless look for a fall wedding in Aiken.

Moody Spring Wedding at Tin Roof Farms

The weather for this wedding couldn’t have stopped a great team from pulling out all the stops to give our couple a beautiful day! It was a dreary and humid spring day, but it only added to the ambiance you can see through these photos.

My favorite part was the head table. Set in front of the mantle filled with candles and flowers, we used small arrangements and candles to set the scene. It was adorned with a specialty linen, custom menus, chargers and napkins.

The flowers were all light, pastel colors and had a whimsical look to them. For a more true-to-color view, be sure to hop over to our instagram and look for this wedding. We loved every bit of it!

Swan House Portraits

Have bouquet, will travel! I always love putting together portrait bouquets for our brides. It’s even more fun when they are shooting in a unique venue! This bouquet made it from Evans to the heart of Atlanta where our bride took her portraits at the historical Swan House.

Elegant Winter Wedding at Old Medical College

The Old Medical College is a beautiful and historic building in downtown Augusta, Georgia. It was built in 1835 and is one of the oldest medical colleges in the Southeast. The building has a grand staircase, large windows, and high ceilings, making it a stunning backdrop for a wedding.

This January reception at the Old Medical College was filled with dark emerald greenery and crisp white and blue blooms. We adorned the entrance with vining greens and carried that theme throughout. The cake was a stunning display, and the fountain on the wall was also a unique accent.
