A Modern Wedding at Enterprise Mill

No roses, no problem! I can’t lie, roses are one of my favorite flowers to use in wedding designs. When our bride thought they were too ordinary, we had to think out of the box! Her favorite flower was a white lily, so that was integrated (of course!), along with delphinium, to create an elegant and modern array of floral designs. The gallery is below of this stunning, industrial, and unique wedding at Enterprise Mill.

Elegant Lavender Wedding

IMG_9215.jpg

This wedding took traditional elements and infused bright pops of varying shades of purple throughout the decor. It was such a pleasure to take on a classic and elegant theme this time around.

We used three sizes of centerpieces to add depth and differentiation to the reception space. I love doing this throughout a venue because it adds so much interest and gives your guests a little something more to look at. The tall centerpieces also allow them to see directly across to other friends and family opposite them at the table.

Tibet and ocean song roses, snowflake spray roses, purple and lavender stock, purple and white hydrangea, white oriental lily, Queen Anne’s lace, lavender moon carnations, purple pixie carnations, white disbud mums, Italian and Florida ruscus, and bear grass.

A Rustic Spring Wedding

byrd-1020.jpg

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: This wedding was so fun to work on! I met Holly and Jamie over a year prior to their wedding date at My Unreal Wedding Expo in 2018, and soon after we sat down to talk over their wedding vision in its entirety. They worked so hard to make their wedding unique and personal.

They had handmade lanterns stained to match their wedding entrance and arbor, honey from the groom’s father’s bees as wedding favors, and a plethora of goodies they collected and customized in the months leading up to the big day. It was an honor to help bring Holly’s vision to life with flowers, foliage, and other accents like the feathers and cotton you’ll see throughout.

Vendela roses, ivory spray roses, white hydrangea, sword and leather leaf ferns, silver dollar eucalyptus, myrtle, pittosporum, pom daisies, scabiosa pods, gypsophelia/babies breath, pheasant, duck, and turkey feathers, antlers, a skull, cotton stems, burlap, and twine.

Peachy-keen Winter Wedding

Rachel + Ben Wedding 2019 (Honeycomb Gallery)-0007.jpg

This beautiful couple kicked of my 2019 wedding season and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Rachel was a dream to work with and I loved all of her ideas for her color palette and decor. We were even able to add accents from both her and her husband’s grandmothers onto the stem of her bouquet. I LOVE adding personal touches like that on wedding day!

Botanical Wedding

stephens-1047 (2017-10-28T12_56_57.491).jpg

These photos are scattered throughout the site, but there's something special about seeing them all together. We took a buggy and botanical leap to set up the ceremony and reception space to reflect a nature-inspired and down-to-earth theme.

This wedding has also been published on The Overwhelmed Bride Blog and Aisle Society, but we kept a few photos hidden for ourselves ;).

I N G R E D I E N T S:
Lotus pods, craspedia, scabiosa pods, leather leaf fern, plumosa, seeded eucalyptus, white wax flower, dried zinnias, vintage amber and glass medicine bottles, and bugs of all sorts encased in acrylic (my apologies to those that were grossed out at the dinner tables).

Springtime Bridal Portraits

JPP_6826-2 copy.jpg

A few weeks ago I was asked to design a bridal bouquet and boutonnière for a styled photo shoot at Savannah Rapids, in Augusta, GA. Little did I know, I would be working with a real couple!

These two lovebirds absolutely worked it, and I'm overjoyed I was able to participate as they recreated their wedding day. I might be biased, but I think there's something so special about couples that can renew their commitment weeks, months, or years after the fact. It was colder down at the river than any of us expected, but you definitely can't tell from looking at these! *insert fire emoji here*

I N G R E D I E N T S:
Ohara & spray roses, anemones, wax flower, gunny eucalyptus, bear grass, and dusty miller & snapdragons from my garden. I loveee adding in home-grown elements!
