Timeless Southern Wedding at The Willcox

There are few trees more southern than the magnolia. Our bride wanted a timeless and classic look with some of her favorite blossoms. These are one of the few flowers I will use a high-quality silk substitute for, because they wilt nearly immediately upon being cut from the tree. We can’t even order them wholesale, for that reason!

We ended up marrying the silk stems with a variety of crisp white blooms to tie it together. I used fresh magnolia and camellia foliage to add a warm, rich green to the flowers. It was a perfectly timeless look for a fall wedding in Aiken.

Moody Spring Wedding at Tin Roof Farms

The weather for this wedding couldn’t have stopped a great team from pulling out all the stops to give our couple a beautiful day! It was a dreary and humid spring day, but it only added to the ambiance you can see through these photos.

My favorite part was the head table. Set in front of the mantle filled with candles and flowers, we used small arrangements and candles to set the scene. It was adorned with a specialty linen, custom menus, chargers and napkins.

The flowers were all light, pastel colors and had a whimsical look to them. For a more true-to-color view, be sure to hop over to our instagram and look for this wedding. We loved every bit of it!

Swan House Portraits

Have bouquet, will travel! I always love putting together portrait bouquets for our brides. It’s even more fun when they are shooting in a unique venue! This bouquet made it from Evans to the heart of Atlanta where our bride took her portraits at the historical Swan House.

Elegant Winter Wedding at Old Medical College

The Old Medical College is a beautiful and historic building in downtown Augusta, Georgia. It was built in 1835 and is one of the oldest medical colleges in the Southeast. The building has a grand staircase, large windows, and high ceilings, making it a stunning backdrop for a wedding.

This January reception at the Old Medical College was filled with dark emerald greenery and crisp white and blue blooms. We adorned the entrance with vining greens and carried that theme throughout. The cake was a stunning display, and the fountain on the wall was also a unique accent.

Rich Fall Wedding at White Oak Road Farms

Fall is a beautiful time of year for a wedding, and the colors of the season can be easily incorporated into the floral arrangements. Burgundy is a popular choice for our autumn events. For this wedding, we incorporated dried materials like bunny tails and pampas grass as a nod to the season. The arbor featured a large spray across the top and truly made a statement. The personal flowers were perfectly suited to our couple!

A Cozy Winter Wedding at Enterprise Mill

What a joy it is to work at Enterprise Mill Event Center! My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it’s always fun to return and assist other couples with their flowers. Enterprise Mill is a beautiful and historic venue located in Augusta, Georgia. It is the perfect place to host a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or other special event. The venue offers a variety of spaces to choose from, including a large reception hall, a courtyard gazebo, and a cafe dining room. They also have a full-service catering team that can help you create a delicious and memorable meal for your guests.

These flowers were filled with late winter blooms like helleborus, and we were even able to integrate some light pink peonies per the bride’s request! The ceremony gazebo was decorated with delicate hanging flowers and greenery, and the atmosphere was perfect for a fun and romantic wedding. The reception space had a mix of tall centerpieces on our gold stands and mixed candles elsewhere. I loved the greenery touches on the entrance to the gazebo and event center that we hung. It warmed up the chilly February day perfectly.
